We will have a display up in the surgery for Carer's week. Come and find out more, we'll have lots of useful information available. If you are providing necessary care for an adult who is normally resident in Devon, you are welcome to contact us to book a free Carers Assessment including a Health and Wellbeing check. During the one hour appointment with one of our specially trained staff, you will have the opportunity to discuss any issues of concern from a holistic perspective, focussing on those areas of your wellbeing that matter most to you. If the person you care for needs replacement care to enable you to attend the appointment you will be reimbursed for the cost.
Our staff are then able to refer you on to Devon Carers or other organisations for further support and advice as appropriate. We are very keen to look after the hidden army of unpaid carers out there in the community so please do not hesitate to come forward and make yourself known to us as a carer.
If you require any further information and to book your appointment please contact us.
