TRANSFORMING COMMUNITY SERVICES
Community services includes district nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, bowel and bladder nurses and community hospitals. The current provider of our community services in Eastern Devon is Northern Healthcare Trust. There is a requirement to launch a competitive tender for these services which will complete in October 2015. Dr Kerr, has been involved with the NEW Devon CCG in leading some of the local discussion and focus on this re procurement. Health Summits have been held in both Ottery and Honiton to consider the services provided by our community teams and further consultation will follow later in the year.
